A New Adventure Awaits...

It has taken two years from the time we discussed how Carolyn would like to celebrate her 80th birthday to today, packed and ready to go. Carolyn turned 80 on 5 July 2025, and together with Laraine, who will turn 80 early next year, and Marianne and myself (age unspecified), we are ready to celebrate in style.

We have taken advantage of a MyCruises offer that includes flights, accommodation, transportion, and a cruise, and early on Thursday morning we fly from Melbourne to Paris to start our adventure in style.

With a train ride under the English Channel to London, we will take a very short London break before travelling to Southampton to board our Norwegian Cruise Line voyage to Ireland. Our cruise circumnavigates the island before sailing around the top of Scotland and down the east coast of England to arrive at our final port of Southampton.

My posts may be sporadic, but rest assured I will chronicle our journey here.
