I have always loved visiting the United Kingdom. Within a relatively short distance one can experience a huge change in landscape from the wild and desolate moors to congested cities. The pretty villages that haven't changed much in centuries, green spaces, historic buildings, maritime history, literature, and one of the best train networks in the world. Wherever one goes, they can find a long history and proud inhabitants.
